Itinerary
Day 1: Cultural Experience with Gorilla Guardians
Your adventure begins upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Musanze. Along the way, stop by Gorilla Guardians for a captivating cultural experience that immerses you in the rich traditions of the Rwandan people. Here you will enjoy vibrant cultural dances and mesmerizing drumming performances. You will have the chance to engage in traditional activities, including trying your hand at archery with a bow and arrow.
Watch a local expert prepare herbal mixtures used in traditional medicine, gaining insight into the unique practices of the region.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Volcanoes National Park
Rise early for an unforgettable day of gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park! After an early breakfast, we will drive to the park headquarters for a 7 AM briefing, where you will be assigned to a gorilla tracking group.
Then you will set out on an exhilarating journey through lush forests and rugged terrain. The trek may involve some challenging climbing and hiking, but the reward is extraordinary. Once you encounter the majestic mountain gorillas, you will be captivated by the experience of observing them just a few meters away. Witness their daily activities, including mothers caring for their young ones, creating an overwhelming connection with these gentle giants. Return to your lodge for relaxation after an exhilarating day.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking Experience & Departure
After breakfast, set off to track the elusive golden monkeys at the foot of Mount Sabyinyo. With the guidance of an experienced tracker, you will search through the lush vegetation for these charming creatures, often found in troops of 50 or more.
Once you locate the Golden Monkeys, you will have the opportunity to observe the monkeys for an hour as they playfully leap from tree to tree. Capturing them on camera can be a delightful challenge, so adjust your settings for fast shutter speed to capture their lively antics in the low light of the dense undergrowth.
After your golden monkey experience, you will be transferred back to Kigali to catch your international flight home, taking with you unforgettable memories of Rwanda’s breathtaking wildlife and vibrant culture.
